Innovative explosion protection
We know that one size does not fit all, so we offer a curved version of Xplo-Gard for mounting directly on to cylindrical vessels with no mounting flange, a sanitary version for food and pharmaceutical environments, and heavy-weight and light-weight versions to accommodate a wide range of pressures. Xplo-Gard also offers the largest size range for flameless vents on the market, so you can be sure of finding a vent that meets your specific requirements.
Xplo-Tel is an ATEX certified burst sensor designed specifically for use with flameless vents. We equip Xplo-Gard with the Xplo-Tel sensor as standard. The inductive sensor does not break when the panel bursts. It can be re-used for a new panel with no need for re-wiring. SVT-03 and Vent-Tel offer non-invasive, ATEX approved, reusable burst detection for explosion vents and panels.

Many different types of dust are found in the agricultural industry. Sources include grain, cotton, and flour. Many, if not all, are moved from one location to another through different methods of conveying. These include pneumatic, screw, or belt systems or through the use of a bucket elevator system. Each of these needs explosion venting. The code requirements for conveying systems can be found in NFPA 61.
Agricultural dust is just as deadly in a silo as it would be in a conveying system. Fine dust is always present in silos containing wheat, corn, flour, and other agricultural products. Proper venting can help reduce the damage of a contained deflagration.
