Explosion Vent Accessories

OsecoElfab’s explosion vent accessories will enhance your explosion protection, and include safety frames, gaskets, temperature adapters and insulation layers.

‍Gaskets

All of OsecoElfab’s explosion vents are manufactured with an integral gasket strip as standard to ensure a leak-tight seal. However, we can also supply full gaskets on request for added safety and security. These are made of neoprene as standard, with other materials available on request.

Temperature adapters

Enhance the temperature capabilities of your explosion vent with one of our temperature adapters. These are particularly useful for applications where processes run at a specific temperature or would be affected by temperature changes outside the vessel.

Insulation layers

Insulation can be external to the panel or built in to the vent construction itself. Options include temperature adapters, aluminium-wrapped flock or integral insulation layers.

Our engineers can advise you on the best type of insulation for your temperature conditions.

Safety frames

Forming an important part of the explosion vent installation, our safety frames ensure the panel performs as intended. Do not use one of our safety frames with any other manufacturer’s explosion vent. We custom-manufacture our safety frames to fit the explosion panels you have ordered. The standard material is stainless steel, with other materials available on request.

• Flat safety frames offer a low profile option at a low cost.
• Angled safety frames provide maximum rigidity and additional protection for domed vents. The angled frames are also easier to attach to applications and offer easy access to the fasteners that hold the explosion panel in place.
• A combined frame profile allows you to select the most appropriate configuration for your installation.

All safety frames can be either bolted or welded on to your vessel.
